It doesn’t matter when you potty train or even HOW you potty train. Some kids have a really strong reaction to this major transition.
Since Simon and Schuster re-launched Oh Crap Potty Training in June of 2015, it has soared in popularity. We are flooded with common questions. Most of these are addressed in the book but since some aren’t, I am constantly writing and making videos about the myriad of issues that can arise. This post contains links to post, videos, and podcasts. It also references book pages because I know we get fuzzy-brained when reading about potty training.  If you haven’t read the book, you should. I think it’s good. But also, here! My Free Potty 101 if you’re more of a cliff notes kinda person.
The book, Oh Crap! Potty Training is, yes…a how-to. But more than that, it contains ALL the crazy things that can get in your way before even starting AND all the things that can come up once you’ve begun. It’s a WONDERFUL reference to revisit again and again as time passes.
And while I don’t have the time or the resources to help every single family that needs help, I AM constantly learning new things, new tips and tricks, and I’m committed to making those available to everyone. So first and foremost, if you have a question, try searching this blog. I also have quite a few YouTube videos you can access right through this site. There are over 70 hours of recorded podcasts available under the title Oh Crap Potty Training (wherever you get your podcasts). There are a slew of quick tip videos on Instagram in the Reels.
Check out the back of the book. The very back. The part no one reads (including myself) in any parenting book. My TOP TWELVE QUESTIONS lie there, hidden in secret. LOL
And please! If you find yourself crying over potty training or just think you need a more personalized plan, PLEASE check out our POTTY SUPPORT PAGE. We have many different options for support. We always want to work with your child’s strengths and personality for the best success.
Without further ado, here is THE MOTHER OF ALL POSTS.  These questions and situations come in various forms so pick one closest to yours.
